Our Occupational Therapist takes a holistic or “whole person approach,” empowering individuals to overcome barriers caused by illness, accidents or ageing to enable them to carry out everyday activities.
The Occupational Therapist assess the individual’s physical, psychological, social and environmental needs to encourage them to keep their independence and identity.
They also create an enabling environment to encourage participation in meaningful and purposeful activity, advising our team on the requirements to maximise safety and independence.
